Even though we can buy them anytime, the strawberries that arrive in May and June are the sweetest and juiciest of the year. They are delicious to eat as is but also perfect for some of my favorite recipes!

Today, I plan on enjoying a cool and refreshing Strawberry Watermelon Smoothie outside on the patio. And, later this week, I'm going to bake a batch of Strawberry Oatmeal Bars to enjoy as a sweet treat after lunch!
